Acceptable Forms of ID - Massachusetts

A licensee may use their own judgment to accept out-of-state forms of identification. However, reliance on any form of ID other than those listed above does not provide a legal defense. If an employee relies on an out-of-state license that is found to be a false ID, the licensee may be penalized.
