Rhode Island TIPS Certification Online
Responsible alcohol server training is mandated by the state of Rhode Island. The Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation requires anyone who serves or sells alcohol, checks IDs, or works as a valet at a liquor-serving establishment to complete a state-approved alcohol server training program. You must complete this training within 60 days of employment.

Which Course Do I Need?
The On-Premise course addresses concerns specific to restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, and other establishments where alcohol is consumed on-site.
The Off-Premise course addresses concerns specific to grocery, liquor, and package stores where alcohol is purchased to go. The course focuses on recognizing signs of intoxication, preventing underage sales, and avoiding third-party sales.
