Responsible alcohol training is mandated by the District of Columbia. DC law requires all managerial employees at liquor-licensed businesses to complete an alcohol awareness training program with an ABCA-approved provider. All liquor license holders and their managers must submit proof of completion with their Manager's License application to the District of Columbia Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration (ABCA).
